Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues defeated the DII Titans of County College of Morris in the last regular season scheduled game, 13-2.
Freshman left-handed pitcher Dylan Taliaferro notched his fifth win of the season from the mound. Taliaferro contributed six strikeouts and six hits in five innings. Sophomore infielder Ryan Ruziecki connected four times, scored twice and knocked in one run as freshman outfielder TJ Scuderi posted two hits, two scored runs and three RBI's. Freshman outfielder Dominic Meleo brought in three runs, scored two and added three hits while sophomore outfielder Connor Kolich recorded one double and two RBI's.
The team's record stands at 32-14 and Brookdale will return to action in the first round of the Region XIX tournament on Saturday, May 11th at home against the #5 seed Camden County College for a noon start time to the best of three series.
