Mays Landing, NJ - Sophomore left-handed pitcher Eric Heatter heaved the nine-inning contest against the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College. Heatter faced 31 batters and struck out 17.
The Jersey Blues defeated Atlantic Cape, 5-0 in conference action as freshman outfielder TJ Scuderi stole three bases and freshman second baseman Matt Granato took two. At bat, sophomore catcher Jay Marchese connected for one double and one RBI.
The team will next take on Harford Community College on the road on Tuesday, April 30th at 5pm.
