Jersey Blues Take Final Two Wins On Spring Trip
Lake Myrtle, FL- The Brookdale Jersey Blues swept TNXL, 1-0 and 6-3. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Jordan Winston had a day on the mound pitching six out of the seven innings allowing no earned runs and a total of 12 strikeouts. Sophomore catcher Joshua Jackson went 1 for 3 bringing in the RBI that brought the Jersey Blues to victory.

Sophomore catcher Joshua Jackson went 1 for 3 bringing in the RBI that brought the Jersey Blues to victory.
In game two action, sophomore left-handed pitcher Philip Demarco pitched a total of five innings and notched six strikeouts. Freshman outfielder Dominic Meleo and freshman outfielder Bradley Brush were the wheels of the team totaling four stolen bases. Jackson led the team at the plate going 2 for 4 with two RBI's while sophomore infielder Ben Porpora and freshman infielder Keith Apostolos both clinched an RBI for the team.
Brookdale will return home to take on the Vikings of Ocean County College on Tuesday, March 26th at 3:30pm.
