Sophomore Jay Marchese Smashes Home Run As Blues Grab Two From Century College
Auburndale, FL- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Wood Ducks of Century College, 10-5 and 3-0. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Eric Heatter pitched most of the game only letting one earned run in and a total of eight strikeouts.

Auburndale, FL- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Wood Ducks of Century College, 10-5 and 3-0. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Eric Heatter pitched most of the game only letting one earned run in and a total of eight strikeouts.
Freshman outfielder TJ Scuderi had quite a day for the Jersey Blues going 2 for 3 with a double and a total of 5 RBI's while sophomore catcher Jay Marchese went 2 for 3 with a home run. Freshman second baseman Matt Granato and sophomore infielder Ben Porpora both tacked on an RBI for the team.
In game two action, sophomore left-handed pitcher Justin Fall pitched five out of the seven innings allowing no runs scored and a total of 10 strikeouts. Freshman third baseman Jeff Massicotte led the Blues at the plate going 2 for 3 with two doubles and an RBI.
The team will return to action on Saturday, March 23th for a doubleheader against TNXL.
