Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale baseball squad grounded the Vikings of Ocean County College, 9-5. Sophomore left-handed pitcher James Wynne earned the save in two innings.
Freshman outfielder TJ Scuderi connected for one double and two RBI's as sophomore third baseman Ben Porpora contributed three scored runs, one double and one RBI. Sophomore shortstop Ryan O'Sullivan posted two hits for one double and one RBI.
Sophomore Eric Heatter collected his fourth win from the mound after hurling for six innings. Heatter tallied eight strikeouts and gave up five hits.
With the conference win, the team rolls to 16-1 and will next take on the Owls of Union County College at home on Thursday, March 28th at 3:30pm.
