Baseball Sweeps Oakton Community College, 9-0 & 8-3
Lake Myrtle, FL - The Brookdale baseball team swept the Owls of Oakton Community College, 9-0 and 8-3. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Eric Heatter hurled for six innings and recorded six strikeouts in game one.

Lake Myrtle, FL - The Brookdale baseball team swept the Owls of Oakton Community College, 9-0 and 8-3. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Eric Heatter hurled for six innings and recorded six strikeouts in game one.
Sophomore infielder Ryan Ruziecki went 3-4 at the plate, scored three runs and stole one base. Freshman second baseman Matt Granato ripped one double and added two scored runs as freshman outfielder TJ Scuderi notched three hits for one double and one RBI. Sophomore outfielder Connor Kolich tallied one hit, two stolen bases and three RBI's.
In game two action, sophomore pitcher Justin Fall tossed for six innings and collected seven strikeouts. Freshman outfielder Bradley Brush contributed three hits, one RBI and one stolen base while Kolich continued to produce offensively with two hits, two RBI's and one scored run.
The team improves to 4-0 and will return to the diamond on Monday, March 18th against Prince George's Community College and Hudson Valley Community College.
