Baseball Grabs Second Place In Region XIX Tournament
Union, NJ- In the gut-wrenching two-game championship series against the Spartans of Northampton Community College, the Jersey Blues came up short. Brookdale, the fourth seeded team, finished second after defeating the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County and Northampton in game two.

Union, NJ- In the gut-wrenching two-game championship series against the Spartans of Northampton Community College, the Jersey Blues came up short. Brookdale, the fourth seeded team, finished second after defeating the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County and Northampton in game two.
In the final two-game series, sophomore first baseman Trevor Romeo and sophomore catcher East Assogna recorded a double apiece while sophomore third baseman Brian Rodriguez knocked in three RBI's. Sophomore shortstop Cole Fluta, sophomore second baseman Brandon Rivera and freshman first baseman Ben Porpora each posted one RBI.
The 2018 Jersey Blues baseball team finished off the season with an overall record of 36-21.
