Schnecksville, PA - Sophomore designated hitter Trevor Romeo and freshman catcher Jay Marchese smacked home runs in the single nine-inning contest against Lehigh Carbon Community College. The Jersey Blues defeated the Cougars, 10-9.

Schnecksville, PA - Sophomore designated hitter Trevor Romeo and freshman catcher Jay Marchese smacked home runs in the single nine-inning contest against Lehigh Carbon Community College. The Jersey Blues defeated the Cougars, 10-9. Romeo also tallied four RBI's while Marchese notched three.
Sophomore left-fielder Cole Hardy went 3-6 at the plate, stole two bases and scored three runs. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Brandon DeKovics earned his 10th win from the mound while freshman lefty James Wynne collected the save in relief.
With the win, the team improves their overall record to 32-19. #4 Brookdale will return to action in the first round of the Region XIX tournament against #5 Camden County College at home on Saturday, May 12th for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
