Baseball Takes Game One From Cumberland Dukes
Vineland, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team defeated the Dukes of Cumberland County College in game one, 12-5. Sophomore shortstop Brian Rodriguez tallied three this and three scored runs as sophomore center-fielder Marco Meleo posted four hits for one double. Meleo also added two scored runs and two RBI's.

Sophomore shortstop Brian Rodriguez tallied three this and three scored runs as sophomore center-fielder Marco Meleo posted four hits for one double. Meleo also added two scored runs and two RBI's.
Sophomore outfielder Joseph Piscopo connected three times at the plate and brought in four runs for Brookdale. Freshman left-handed pitcher Justin Fall threw heat for seven innings, striking out seven Duke batters and earning his fifth win of the season.
Game two was suspended in the sixth inning due to darkness.
The team improves their overall record to 24-11 and will return home to face the Vikings of Mercer County Community College for a single nine-inning match-up on Wednesday, April 18th at 3:30pm.
