West Windsor, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team scored 16 runs against the Vikings of Mercer County Community College but dropped the nine-inning match-up, 19-16.
The infield highlighted Brookdale's offense as sophomore third baseman Mike Russell went 3-5 in the batter's box, scored four runs and drove in two RBI's. Sophomore first baseman Jake Buser connected three times for one double and five RBI's while sophomore second baseman Joey Tesoriero posted one double, one stolen base and two RBI's.
The team will next travel down to Cumberland County College to take on the Dukes for a single game on Friday, May 5th.
