Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the division I Fighting Owls of Harford Community College in two games, 15-5 and 12-6.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the division I Fighting Owls of Harford Community College in two games, 15-5 and 12-6.
In game one, sophomore third baseman Mike Russell and sophomore left-fielder Joe Rotelli crushed two-run homers as freshman shortstop Cole Fluta posted one double. Fluta also notched a defensive double-play.
In game two, sophomore center-fielder Mike Santaromita ripped a grand slam in the bottom of the second inning to put the Blue ahead, 5-1. Harford took the lead in the top of the fourth and Brookdale could not rally back.
The team will next travel to Mercer County Community College for a single nine-inning game on Wednesday, May 3rd beginning at 3:30pm.
