Baseball Answers Back And Takes Two From Ocean County College
Toms River, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team answered back from yesterday's defeat and took two from the Vikings of Ocean County College in conference action.

Toms River, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team answered back from yesterday's defeat and took two from the Vikings of Ocean County College in conference action.
In game one, Brookdale edged Ocean, 12-2. Freshman right-handed pitcher Anthony Ratti threw heat for the complete game. Ratti recorded his fifth win from the mound and struck out eight batters.
Freshman shortstop Cole Fluta posted two doubles and two RBI's while sophomore first baseman Jake Buser tallied one double and three RBI's. Sophomore third baseman Mike Russell crushed a home-run, his third of the season and knocked in three RBI's. Sophomore right-fielder Nick Martinez had a day at bat, connecting four times and scoring three runs.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Kyle Fenton tossed for six innings and totaled six strikeouts, six hits and two runs in game two as Brookdale defeated Ocean, 10-2. Sophomore center-fielder Mike Santaromita notched one home-run, one double, two RBI's and two scored runs while sophomore second baseman Joey Tesoriero contributed two walks and two RBI's. Freshman designated hitter Trevor Romeo added three hits and three RBI's.
Brookdale improves their overall record to 31-14 and will return to action on the road at Monroe College on Sunday, April 30th for two games.
