Bel Air, MD- The Jersey Blues baseball team matched-up against the DII Fighting Owls of Harford Community College. After a tied first inning, Harford had a strong second inning and Brookdale could not answer back and fell, 22-10 in seven innings.
Freshman left-handed pitcher Tito Morales threw for four innings and collected two strikeouts. At bat, sophomore right-fielder Nick Martinez, freshman designated hitter Trevor Romeo, sophomore first baseman Michael Ianelli and sophomore catcher Geraldo Reyes each posted one double as sophomore center-fielder Mike Santaromita crushed a home-run in the first inning of the game.
The team returns home to face the Vikings of Ocean County College on Friday, April 28th for a single nine inning game at 3:30pm.
