Brookdale Grabs Game One From Middlesex; Jersey Blues Fall In Game Two
Edison, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team grabbed a 7-3 win over the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College in game one of the doubleheader. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Pat Knight hurled the completed game, allowing four hits and three runs while also striking out eight batters.

Edison, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team grabbed a 7-3 win over the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College in game one of the doubleheader. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Pat Knight hurled the completed game, allowing four hits and three runs while also striking out eight batters.
Sophomore center-fielder Mike Santaromita went 3-4 at the plate and collected three doubles and two RBI's. Sophomore right-fielder Nick Martinez posted three hits for one double and three RBI's as freshman designated hitter Trevor Romeo tallied one double and two RBI's.
The Jersey Blues fell in game two, 6-3. Freshman outfielder Anthony Nocero connected twice at bat and scored two runs while sophomore first baseman Michael Ianelli drove in three RBI's.
The team's record stands at 26-8 overall. Brookdale will return home to face Monroe College on Tuesday, April 18th at 3:30pm.
