Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team edged the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College, 7-2. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Kyle Fenton tossed for the win, collecting his fourth victory of the season.
Sophomore third baseman Mike Russell posted two hits and one RBI as freshman designated hitter Trevor Romeo batted 3-3 and drove in three RBI's.
With the win, the Jersey Blues improve their overall record to 20-3 and will next face Atlantic Cape Community College on the road on Tuesday, April 4th for a two game series.
