Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team dropped a nine inning game to the Titans of County College of Morris, 8-7 after leading the way until the top of the ninth.
Brookdale had a 6-4 lead until the top of the ninth inning when Morris scored four times to take a two-run advantage and win the game.
Sophomore second baseman Joey Tesoriero smashed a solo home-run and recorded two RBI's while sophomore right-fielder Nick Martinez, sophomore third baseman Mike Russell and sophomore first baseman Jake Buser tallied one double and one RBI each.
Freshman designated hitter Trevor Romeo also knocked in two runs.
The team returns to action on the road to face the Spartans of Northampton Community College on Saturday, April 1st for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
