Head Baseball Coach Johnny Johnson Notches 600th Career Win
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale's head baseball coach Johnny Johnson captured his 600th career win as the Jersey Blues downed the Cyclones of St. Cloud & Technical Community College in game two of the doubleheader, 12-8 at the RussMatt Central Florida Baseball Invitational on Monday, March 13th.

Johnson, who is in his 19th year in charge of the Jersey Blues program, has been named the Region XIX coach of the year six times and the Garden State Athletic Conference coach of the year six times in his illustrious career at the helm. Johnson's career record now stands at 610-236.
No stranger to success, Johnson was voted to the All-Decade Team (1980) for New Jersey high schools by Scholastic Sports and was previously voted to the first team All Tri-State Daily News team as a catcher in 1980 and 81 before starting his collegiate playing career at Brookdale.
The 2017 Blues start off the season with an overall record of 16-2 and are motivated to seek their fifth Region XIX crown and fourth trip to the NJCAA World Series championship.
