Brookdale Grabs Road Win Sweep Against Rowan Roadrunners; Pat Knight Pitches Complete First Game

Sewell, NJ- Sophomore left-handed pitcher Pat Knight highlighted from the mound in the first game as the Jersey Blues defeated the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 4-1. Knight recorded four strikeouts, four hits and one run.

Sophomore center-fielder Mike Santaromita collected three hits and scored one run as sophomore first baseman Jake Buser posted one double and two RBI's.

In game two, Brookdale overpowered RCGC, 7-2. Freshman pitcher Brandon Devovics led the defensive for seven innings from the rubber and tallied three strikeouts and seven hits.

Sophomore outfielder Elvis Clime knocked in two RBI's and crushed one double while sophomore outfielder Mike Russell notched a sac-fly RBI. Freshman shortstop Cole Fluta contributed one hit, one run and one RBI.

The team improves their overall record to 16-2 and will return to action on the road against the Vikings of Mercer County Community College on Wednesday, March 22nd.
