Winter Haven, FL- Head baseball coach Johnny Johnson captured his 600th win as the Jersey Blues downed the Cyclones of St. Cloud Technical & Community College in game two of the doubleheader, 12-8.

Winter Haven, FL- Head baseball coach Johnny Johnson captured his 600th win as the Jersey Blues downed the Cyclones of St. Cloud Technical & Community College in game two of the doubleheader, 12-8.
In game one, Brookdale slid past St. Cloud, 4-3. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Mike Russell collected the win in relief. Sophomore first baseman Jake Buser went 2-4 at the plate and knocked in one run while freshman shortstop Cole Fluta recorded one hit, two walks and one RBI. Sophomore second baseman Joey Tesoriero posted one double.
In game two, sophomore right-handed pitcher Ryan Orender notched the win from the pitching rubber. Russell tallied one double, two scored runs and two RBI's while freshman third baseman Trevor Romeo brought in two runs. Fluta also added three hits, one RBI and one stolen base in Johnson's 600th victory.
With the win, the team improves their overall record to 6-0 and will return to action on Tuesday, March 14th to face Northern Essex Community College for two games.
