As a freshman at Brookdale, the Cranford native had 14 appearances at the mound, including six starts. Knight totaled 62 strikeouts, averaging 10.59 per game while also recording six wins and a fielding percentage of .800.
"I chose George Washington University because of the prestigious academics and the opportunity to play competitive division I baseball. Also, the opportunity to live in the nation's capital is one that few people ever get, " he said.
