Vineland, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball season came to a close after the team suffered a tough defeat in extra innings against the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 7-6 in the elimination game of the Region XIX tournament.
Freshman center-fielder Mike Santaromita crushed one home run, one double and knocked in two RBI's. Sophomore shortstop Alfredo Molina Jr. posted one double while sophomore first baseman Joseph Sadler smashed a home run and drove in one RBI.
The 2016 baseball team finished up the season with an overall record of 36-12, 12-4 in conference play.
