Baseball Slides Past Northamptan Spartans In DH
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team defeated the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 6-5 and 9-2. In game one, sophomore shortstop Alfredo Molina Jr. posted three RBI's, one double and two stolen bases.

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team defeated the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 6-5 and 9-2. In game one, sophomore shortstop Alfredo Molina Jr. posted three RBI's, one double and two stolen bases.
Freshmen outfielders Nick Martinez and Michael Russell each ripped a triple while freshman second baseman Joey Tesoriero contributed an RBI. Freshman third baseman Ryan Orender and sophomore catcher Nicholas Blaney collected one double apiece.
From the mound, freshman right-handed pitcher Danny Serreino tossed for six innings, earning seven strikouts.
In game two, freshman center-fielder Mike Santaromita collected three hits for one double and one triple and scored two runs for Brookdale. Freshman catcher Gerardo A. Reyes recorded two doubles and one RBI.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Mike Imperato tallied his fourth win from the mound, throwing the complete seven inning game.
The team improves their overall record to, 30-8 and will return to action on Tuesday, April 26th against the Vikings of Mercer County Community College at home.
