Andrew Cimmino Earns Win In Relief; Brookdale Extends Win Streak To Nine
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team swept the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 3-2 and 10-4. In game one, Brookdale clinched the game on a walk off hit by freshman outfielder Nicholas Martinez, who knocked in the winning run.

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team swept the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 3-2 and 10-4. In game one, Brookdale clinched the game on a walk off hit by freshman outfielder Nicholas Martinez, who knocked in the winning run.
Freshman center-fielder Mike Santaromita recorded one triple and one scored run while sophomore shortstop Alfredo Molina Jr. collected one hit and one RBI. Freshman designated hitter Jake Buser crushed a double and drove in one RBI. Martinez contributed two doubles.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Joe DeCelie threw for six innings and earned nine strikeouts. DeCelie allowed two hits and two runs. Freshman left-handed pitcher Andrew Cimmino entered the game in relief and posted his second win of the season.
In game two, sophomore right-handed pitcher Michael Balboa earned his second win from the mound. Freshman outfielder Michael Russell went 3-3 at bat, tallying two runs, two doubles and two RBI's. Sophomore first baseman Joseph Sadler smacked two hits for a double and home run while also bringing in three RBI's. Molina added another three hits for one home run, two scored runs and two RBI's.
The team extends their win streak to nine and will return to action at home to face the Spartans of Northampton Community College on Sunday, April 24th for a noon start time.
