Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team downed the Cougars of Camden County College, 17-6. Freshman third baseman Michael Russell collected two hits at bat for one double and three RBI's.

Freshman designated hitter Jake Buser launched one home run and knocked in one RBI while freshman outfielder Nick Martinez drove in two RBI's.
From the mound, freshman left-handed pitcher Patrick Knight hurled for six innings and earned two strikeouts. Knight allowed eight hits and six scored runs.
Game two was called in the eighth inning because of darkness. The score was tied at five.
The Jersey Blues improve their overall record to 25-8-1. The team will travel to Middlesex County College on Thursday, April 21st to face the Blue Colts for one nine inning game.
