Brookdale Baseball Sweeps University of Connecticut at Avery Point
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team swept University of Connecticut at Avery Point, 10-0 and 8-5. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Mike Imperato tossed the complete game and struck out four batters. Sophomore shortstop Alfredo Molina Jr. posted two hits for one home run and scored three runs.

Freshman center-fielder Mike Santaromita tallied three hits, two scored runs, one stolen base and three RBI's. Sophomore catcher Nicholas Blaney added two hits.
In game two, freshman Michael Russell pitched for the win in relief. Russell recorded his second win of the season.
Freshman catcher Gerardo A. Reyes contributed three hits and three RBI's while Molina collected two more RBI's.
The team improves their overall record to 23-8 and will next face the Owls of Union County College away on Tuesday, April 19th.
