Russ Matt, FL- The Jersey Blues defeated Utica College, 7-3 and Calvin College, 4-0 on day five of the spring trip.
Freshman outfielder Michael Russell tallied one double and one RBI in game one against Utica College. Freshman center-fielder Mike Santaromita posted two doubles while sophomore catcher Nicholas Blaney and freshman third baseman Ryan Orender knocked in one run apiece.
In game two, freshman outfielder Jevon Tyree recorded four stolen bases while freshman second baseman Joey Tesoriero stole one.
Freshman outfielder Nick Martinez clobbered a home run and knocked in one run.
The team returns to action on Saturday, March 19th against Delgado Community College for a doubleheader.
