Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team overwhelmed the DII Golden Lions of Raritan Valley Community College, 17-3. The Blues had a strong second inning where they earned 14 runs.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team overwhelmed the DII Golden Lions of Raritan Valley Community College, 17-3. The Blues had a strong second inning where they earned 14 runs.
Freshman outfielder Nick Martinez went 2-2 up at bat and collected one double, four RBI's and three scored runs. Sophomore shortstop Alfredo Molina Jr. tallied one triple and two RBI's while sophomore catcher Nicholas Blaney contributed one hit and two RBI's.
From the mound, sophomore right-handed pitcher Joe DeCelie recorded his second win. DeCelie threw for four innings and struck out four batters.
The team improves their overall record to 9-3 and will next face the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County on the road on Thursday, March 24th.
