Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 7-5 and 11-8. In game one, freshman pitcher Michael Pepio led from the mound for 6 innings with 3 strikeouts and 2 hits. Freshman first baseman Tim Carney and freshman second baseman Brandon Ruetsch each tallied 2 RBI's.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 7-5 and 11-8. In game one, freshman pitcher Michael Pepio led from the mound for 6 innings with 3 strikeouts and 2 hits. Freshman first baseman Tim Carney and freshman second baseman Brandon Ruetsch each tallied 2 RBI's.
In game two, sophomore outfielder Nick Vitale went 2-4 at the plate with a triple. Sophomore third baseman Ryan Kirman scored 3 runs and drove in an RBI.
Carney smacked a 3-run homer and tallied a total of 4 RBI's. Sophomore outfielder Jon Roszel added an RBI.
The team returns to action on Saturday, April 26th at home against Northampton Community College for a doubleheader.
