Baseball Falls To Cumberland County College In Doubleheader
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 13-6 and 6-5. In game one, outfielder Nick Vitale smacked the first pitch of the game deep to left field for a triple. He also tallied an RBI. Sophomore Jon Roszel went 2-3 at the plate with a 3-run homer.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 13-6 and 6-5. In game one, outfielder Nick Vitale smacked the first pitch of the game deep to left field for a triple. He also tallied an RBI. Sophomore Jon Roszel went 2-3 at the plate with a 3-run homer.
In game two, Vitale batted 4-4, tallying a home run and 2 RBI's. Freshman first baseman Tim Carney knocked in an RBI and ripped a home run.
The team returns to the field on Thursday, April 24th against the Roadrunners of Gloucester County College.
