Baseball Splits With Bergen; Nick Panduri Throws Heat
Paramus, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team split with the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College. In game one, the Blues fell 5-6 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Sophomore outfielder Nick Vitale smashed 2 doubles and drove in 2 RBI's while first baseman Tim Carney hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI's.

Paramus, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team split with the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College. In game one, the Blues fell 5-6 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Sophomore outfielder Nick Vitale smashed 2 doubles and drove in 2 RBI's while first baseman Tim Carney hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI's.
In game two, Brookdale downed the Bulldogs 3-0. Freshman pitcher Nick Panduri threw for the win. He struck out 10 batters and gave up 3 hits. Carney went 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI's. Vitale contributed 2 RBI's.
The team returns to action on the road at Middlesex County College on Tuesday, April 22nd.
