Baseball Blanks Luzerne County Community College In Doubleheader
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team blanked the TrailBlazers of Luzerne County Community College, 10-0 and 14-0. In game one, freshman first baseman Tim Carney blasted 2 triples,a home run and drove in 4 RBI's. Sophomore outfielder Nick Vitale went 3-4 with 2 doubles, a triple and 3 runs scored. Sophomores Ryan Kirman and Travis Rudic each collected a double and 2 RBI's.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team blanked the TrailBlazers of Luzerne County Community College, 10-0 and 14-0. In game one, freshman first baseman Tim Carney blasted 2 triples, a home run and drove in 4 RBI's.
Sophomore outfielder Nick Vitale went 3-4 with 2 doubles, a triple and 3 runs scored. Sophomores Ryan Kirman and Travis Rudic each collected a double and 2 RBI's.
In game two, freshman second baseman Brandon Ruetsch smacked a double, triple and had 2 RBI's. Kirman went 2-4 at the plate with a double, triple and RBI. Freshman third baseman Justin Morgan contributed a double and 2 RBI's.
The Blues return to action on Tuesday, April 15th against Ocean County College at home.
