Pemberton, NJ- The Jersey Blues defeated the Barons of Burlington County College, 8-2. Freshman pitcher Michael Pepio led Brookdale from the mound. Sophomore outfielder Nick Vitale went 3-5 at the plate with a double and RBI.
Freshman shortstop Spencer Young hit a double, scored 2 runs and had an RBI while freshman first baseman Tim Carney drove in 3 RBI's and blasted a home run for the Blues.
The team returns to action on Friday, April 4th for a doubleheader against Cumberland County College.
