Groveland, FL- The Brookdale baseball team split with Oakton Community College in today's doubleheader. In game one, the Blues came up short, 5-6. Sophomore outfielder Nick Vitale went 1-3 at the plate, hitting a double and bringing in a run.
Sophomore third baseman Ryan Kirman hit a double and went 2-4 at the plate. Sophomore Travis Rudic had 2 RBI's and went 1-2.
In game two, the Blues won, 7-5. Vitale went 1-3, hit a double and drove in 1 run. Freshman catcher Aaron Kane ripped a double and brought in 2 runs for the Blues. Kane went 2-3 at bat.
Sophomore outfielder Kyle Golla hit a double and went 1-3.
The team is next in action on Monday, March 17th.
