How do you motivate yourself prior to competition? Prior to competition, I motivate myself by listening to music and focusing on what I wish to accomplish for my race. I try my best to avoid making any bad excuses to not create a bad mindset. I instead think of all the dedication and hard work I put in previously.  

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I hope to be still running every day but not competitively. I see myself working at a business firm, but my dream is to work for myself as an entrepreneur.  

What is your favorite class this semester and why? My favorite class this semester is business. I have Professor Perry, who is not only a really nice guy but a  great teacher. He gets everyone involved and can make some boring topics very interesting. 

What are your top 3 movies? Watching movies is one of my hobbies. Personally, my top 3 favorites are Django Unchained, Dead Poets Society, and Hacksaw Ridge.  

What is your proudest moment as a student-athlete? My proudest moment as a student-athlete is being a leader to my High School teammates and watching them grow not only as runners but as people in general. I hope to become a leader to my new teammates at Brookdale as well.
