Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings hosted the Brookdale women's soccer team to first, come together and recognize National Breast Care Awareness Month while donning pre-game warm-up pink "Kick to Cure" t-shirts and pink socks to salute those who have faced the disease.

Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings hosted the Brookdale women's soccer team to first, come together and recognize National Breast Care Awareness Month while donning pre-game warm-up pink "Kick to Cure" t-shirts and pink socks to salute those who have faced the disease.
Following the pre-game, the Jersey Blues got into game mode, scoring the games only goal at 29:59 with a sweet corner kick from freshman midfielder, Hailey Funkhouser, that partner freshman midfielder, Marissa Pane, knocked in off of her thigh. Freshman Ryann Bannerman was big in the goal with 12 saves.
Brookdale leads the Region with a 3-0 record and 2-0 in the GSAC as they prepare to face the Essex County College Wolverines on the road next on Thursday, October 5th, 3:30pm.
