Sophomore Ashley Cafarella Named 2016 NJAIAW Woman Of The Year
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College's Ashley Cafarella (Old Bridge High School) was honored at Seton Hall University for being chosen as the recipient of the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW), Woman of the Year Award.
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College's Ashley Cafarella (Old Bridge High School) was honored at Seton Hall University for being chosen as the recipient of the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW), Woman of the Year Award.
In her two years at Brookdale Community College, Ashley has established herself as an integral part of our college community. As a student-athlete, she was a leader of our women's soccer program that won the National Championship in 2014 and 2015. The team also won conference and region titles. She also was a member of the Student Athlete-Advisory Committee (SAAC)
Ashley has earned honors such as Dean's list, 2014 NJCAA second All-America team, 2015 NJCAA first All-America team, 2014 and 2015 first team All-Region, 2014 and 2015 first team All-GSAC and 2015 NSCAA second All-America team.
She currently holds a 3.3 GPA and will be attending Wilmington University on an athletic scholarship in the fall.
