Lincroft, NJ - Despite Brookdale's 77-57 win over the Camden Cougars, the men struggled with lack of intensity, turnovers, missed lay-ups, and second-chance points. The Blues managed to keep their lead most of the game with help from sophomore guard, Jaimik Moore, who had 25 points and seven rebounds on the night.
Brookdale's press, quick feet and hands, helped the Cougars turn the ball over, but they were having difficulty answering with points on the other end. Freshman guard, Zachary Olukanni, worked for his 11 points and seven rebounds, as did sophomore, Grant Goode, adding nine points and nine rebounds. In addition, Freshman point guard, Tarique Holmes, displayed amazing quick hands with five steals and six assists.
The Brookdale men are 16-0 overall, and 13-0 in the NJCAA conference. They will be hosting the Passaic County College Panthers on Saturday, January 20th, @ 2pm.
