Baseball Sweeps Camden County College In Region XIX Action As TJ Scuderi Posts Two Home Runs
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale baseball team defeated the Cougars of Camden County College in Region XIX action, 3-1 and 9-8. In game one, sophomore right-handed pitcher Justin Fall threw the complete game and earned his fourth win from the mound. Fall struck out eight batters and allowed four hits.

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale baseball team defeated the Cougars of Camden County College in Region XIX action, 3-1 and 9-8. In game one, sophomore right-handed pitcher Justin Fall threw the complete game and earned his fourth win from the mound. Fall struck out eight batters and allowed four hits.
Freshman second baseman Matt Granato posted one double, one scored run and one RBI as freshman outfielder Bradley Brush knocked in two RBI's and tallied one double. Freshman outfielder Dominic Meleo contributed one triple, one scored run and one walk.
In game two action, sophomore left-handed pitcher Eric Heatter threw heat for 7.1 innings. Heatter notched 11 strikeouts, five hits and five runs. Freshman lefty Dylan Taliaferro added his third save with two strikeouts to close the door on the Cougars.
Freshman outfielder TJ Scuderi ripped two home runs and brought in three RBI's as sophomore infielder Ryan Ruziecki went 5-5 in the batter's box with one double, one triple, two stolen bases and two RBI's.
With the win, the team improves to 27-8. The team will return to action on Monday, April 22nd to take on the DII Falcons of Lackawanna College at home at 3:30pm.
