Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale women's soccer had their endurance tested in their physical 101 minute overtime win over the NJCAA Division I Essex County College Wolverines, 1-0.
Both teams had plenty of opportunities to score with Brookdale's 18 shots on goal vs the 14 saves that sophomore goalie, Emma Bennett, shunned. The game came down to overtime and in that 101st minute, freshman forward, Adyson Hornberger, fed freshman forward, Rori McDonough, on top of the 18 yard line where she sent her laser shot in for the win.
Brookdale (1-0) will be headed to Maryland for a soccer game weekend beginning with the Howard Community College Dragons on Saturday, September 10th at 12pm.
