Rockford, IL - The Jersey Blues grabbed the third place title at the NJCAA Division III women's soccer national tournament after defeating Herkimer College, 4-3 and falling to Richland College, 5-1. Freshman forward Lauren Karabin topped the NJCAA leader board after scoring her 31st goal of the season against the Thunderducks of Richland College.

Rockford, IL - The Jersey Blues grabbed the third place title at the NJCAA Division III women's soccer national tournament after defeating Herkimer College, 4-3 and falling to Richland College, 5-1. Freshman forward Lauren Karabin topped the NJCAA leaderboard after scoring her 31st goal of the season against the Thunderducks of Richland College.
Brookdale fought hard and never gave up but could not match the early 2-0 lead Richland took in the semifinal game.
The team finishes out the 2018 season with an overall record of 16-2, an undefeated conference record of 7-0 and an untouched Region XIX record of 9-0 . The Blues also tallied a Garden State Athletic Conference title and Region XIX District C title.
