Women's Soccer Advances To National Semi-Finals After Defeating Herkimer College
Loves Park, IL - The Brookdale women's soccer team defeated the Generals of Herkimer College by a score of 4-3 in the first round of the NJCAA Division III national tournament. Sophomore defender Madison Doria headed the first goal of the game in the fourth minute of play. Sophomore midfielder Jessica Textor crossed the assist.

Rockford, IL - The Brookdale women's soccer team defeated the Generals of Herkimer College by a score of 4-3 in the first round of the NJCAA Division III national tournament. Sophomore defender Madison Doria headed the first goal of the game in the fourth minute of play. Sophomore midfielder Jessica Textor crossed the assist.
Brookdale continued to maintain possession as freshman forward Lauren Karabin tallied two more goals for the Jersey Blues. Freshman midfielder Haley Dalonzo and sophomore defender Brianna Quezada notched the assists. Dalonzo netted the fourth and final goal for the team in the first half.
Sophomore defenders Devon Moreno, Kelly Negra, Quezada and Doria held tight in the back and did not allow many shots. Sophomore goalkeeper Sheridan Casserly picked up the win in net.
The Blues will next take on the #1 seeded Richland College at 3:00pm on Friday, November 9th. The game will be streamed live on NJCAAtv.org.
