Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team dominated play against the Wolverines of Essex County College, 7-0. Sophomore forward Simone McEnough connected with the back of the net three times, posting her second hat-trick of the season.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team dominated play against the Wolverines of Essex County College, 7-0. Sophomore forward Simone McEnough connected with the back of the net three times, posting her second hat-trick of the season.
Freshman forward Aubrey Jones put the Blues on the scoreboard first in the 19th minute of play after receiving the ball from the foot of freshman forward Heather Arbachesky. Arbachesky then went on to score her first goal of the game from the corner kick mark. Arbacheksy added a second goal and two more assists for Brookdale. Freshman defender Colleen Branagan recorded one assist in the match.
With five minutes left to go, sophomore center-midfielder Ashley Cafarella ripped a beautiful shot for the final goal of the game.
The Blues defense held strong as sophomore goalkeeper Marti Stewart made six saves for her tenth shutout of the season.
The team returns to action against Harford Community College at 4:00pm on Thursday, October 22nd.
