Newton, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team downed the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, 6-0. Sophomore forward Caroline Duerr led the Blues offense with three goals and one assist.
Sophomore center-midfielder Brooke Tartis, sophomore forward Nicole Rodriguez and freshman forward Brianna Penix posted a goal and an assist apiece. Sophomore midfielder Raquel Rodriguez and freshman Kimberly D'Ermilio each collected an assist.
The combined efforts of defenders Amanda Anastasia, Ali Maddock, Meredith Parleman and Alexandria Montefinese, coupled with six saves at the hands of freshman goalkeeper Marti Stewart enabled the Blues to collect their fifth shutout of the season.
