Bethlehem, PA- The Brookdale women's soccer team defeated the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 7-0. Sophomore center-midfielder Brooke Tartis led the Blues with 3 goals. Tartis' first goal was headed into the back of the net off a cross from sophomore forward Caroline Duerr. Duerr collected 2 more assists in the game.
Brookdale maintained possession and was able to break into the scoring column in both halves. Sophomore forward Nicole Rodriguez and freshman midfielders Ashley Cafarella and Kimberly D'Ermilio all added goals in the first half to take a, 6-0 lead into halftime. Rodriguez also recorded an assist.
In the forty-eighth minute of the game, freshman forward Viktoria Odell scored the seventh and final goal for the Blues.
The team returns to action at Bergen Community College on Thursday, September 18th for a 3:30pm kick-off.
