Brookdale Surpasses DII Lackawanna Falcons In Second Contest
Scranton, PA - The Jersey Blues softball program split against the Falcons of Lackawanna College. Brookdale fell in game one, 5-4 and rallied for the win in game two, 13-5.

Scranton, PA - The Jersey Blues softball program split against the Falcons of Lackawanna College. Brookdale fell in game one, 5-4 and rallied for the win in game two, 13-5.
At bat, freshman catcher Kaitlin Vazquez connected for a two-run single, sophomore shortstop Alyssa Raimondo posted an RBI double while freshman first baseman Megan Masi contributed an RBI single.
In game two, freshman outfielder Tara Daukshus went 4-4 at the plate and brought in four runs as sophomore third baseman Shakyra Moore tallied three hits that produced two RBI's. The team tallied 18 hits in the contest.
With the two-game series completed, Brookdale improves to 24-8 and will next appear on the diamond at Harford Community College on Friday, April 12th at 5pm.
