Mays Landing, NJ - The Jersey Blues men busted open the game following a 13-4 lead early in the half and dominated to a 47-33 half time score. The Blues then widened the gap even more by 36 points with a final 107-71 win against the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers. Four players earned double figures, contributing to Brookdale's head coach, Paul Cisek's, 500th win last night.
Sophomore guard/forward, Grant Goode (St. John Vianney), hit for his season high 27 points, as Sophomore forward/guard, Zachary Olukanni (Teaneck high school) poured in 20 points and nine assists. Both Sophomore forward, Matthew Ringel (Marlboro high school), and Freshman guard, Kenneth LaRocca (Marlboro high school), contibuted 11 points, with LaRocca adding seven rebounds.
The Jersey Blues will be back home next Tuesday, December 12th, at 7PM, to face Division II CC Morris, in The Robert J. Collins Arena.
