Brookdale Outscores Atlantic Cape Community College In Region XIX Contest
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues men's basketball team outscored the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 94-67. Freshman guard Zachary Olukanni led the team in scoring with 18 points followed by sophomore shooting guard James Wright who drained 13 points.

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues men's basketball team outscored the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 94-67. Freshman guard Zachary Olukanni led the team in scoring with 18 points followed by sophomore shooting guard James Wright who drained 13 points.
Brookdale took control of the game in the middle of the first half and with eight minutes remaining before halftime, the score was tied at 24. The Blues outscored the Bucs, 22-5 to end the first half with a 17 point lead.
The team cruised in the second half and never let the point differential drop below 17. Sophomore forward Sky Harris and freshman forward Kyle Bradshaw collected 10 points apiece while freshman forward Terra Gatling posted 13 rebounds, five assists, eight points and three blocks. Sophomore point guard Kerry Kirkwood led the Blues in assists with eight and also chipped in eight points.
Brookdale rebounds with the win and improves their overall record to 14-8. The Blues will next travel to Mercer County Community College on Thursday, February 2nd for a 7:00pm jump ball.
