Brookdale Men's Basketball Goes Dancing Again; Wins Second Consecutive Region XIX title
Lincroft, NJ - For the second consecutive season, the Brookdale men's basketball team will go dancing in the NJCAA National Championship tournament. With a 89-59 win over the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference's top seeded team, Northampton, the Jersey Blues were crowned the 2013 Region XIX Division III champion.

Helping the Blues to extend a 10-point halftime lead with 15 second-half points, David Rosado (Saddle River, NJ) was named the 2013 Joseph A Papiano most valuable player. Rosado finished the game with 22 points overall, while Joe Nickerson (Newark, NJ) scored a game-high 23 points.
Also for the second consecutive year, head coach Paul Cisek was presented with the Doug Yennie Coach of the Year award.
Brookdale will now travel to Sullivan County Community College for a crack at the 2013 NJCAA Division III title. Tournament play begins on March 14th.
