What sport do you enjoy watching the most? Who do you root for (team and/or individual player)? The sport that I enjoy watching the most is football. The team I root for is the Giants, and my family and I enjoy watching the games together on Sundays. However, ever since Patrick Mahomes got drafted in the NFL, he became my favorite player. Something that I admire about him is that he had the opportunity to play both professional baseball and professional football, which speaks of how great of an athlete he is. I also respect his attitude as an athlete because when he gets interviewed after winning a game, he's focused on what he and his team still must accomplish rather than being fully focused on the celebration of the win.
Who is your favorite musical artist? My favorite musical artist is Lewis Capaldi. He makes really good music that a lot of people can relate to and has a really good positive attitude about life.
What non-sport related activity do you enjoy the most? The non-sport related activity that I enjoy most is spending time with my friends and going shopping at the mall.
What do you do to de-stress? What I do to de-stress is ride my bike to a park near my house and read a book while overlooking the water. I also enjoy taking walks with my mom while telling her about my day and listening to her advice.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself. A fun fact about myself is that I have a twin brother and we are very close. Growing up, we were always together, and we tell each other everything.
Do you have anyone that you would like to thank? Yes, firstly I would like to thank the athletic department and my softball coach, Coach Bo, for recognizing me and giving me the opportunity to be the Student-Athlete of the Month. Secondly, I would like to thank all of the coaches, trainers, counselors, and teachers that I have had along the way. They have all helped encourage me to be the best student, athlete, and person that I can be. Lastly, I would like to thank my family and specifically my parents. My entire family has always been very supportive of me as a student-athlete. My parents have given me as many opportunities as they can for me to become a successful and well-rounded student-athlete. Thank you everyone!
