Freshman Liam Broadhurst Records Personal Best At DeSales Invitational

Center Valley, PA - Freshman Liam Broadhurst recorded a personal best time of 29:58 in the men's 8K race at the DeSales Invitational. Broadhurst placed 72nd overall.

On a very hilly course, winding around cornfields and through campus, the Jersey Blues men's cross country team had some very nice performances. Sophomore Ryan Loehr placed 125th with a time of 35:03; his second best time ever.  Rounding it out for Brookdale was freshman Kevin Gonzalez who placed 138th with a time of 36:38. This was a new best time for Gonzalez.

On the women's side, freshman Malea McMurray ran the 6K and placed 99th in a time of 33:27; her second best time ever. 

The team will next compete at the Region XIX tournament on Saturday, October 26th at White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, Delaware.
